Welcome to the Bringing Yoga Off the Mat virtual program, an eight-week journey of self-discovery, growth, and transformation through yoga and connection with yourself. This program is designed to help you cultivate awareness, build resilience, and create positive change in your life. By committing to this program, you will deepen your understanding of the foundational principles of yoga, enhance your physical and mental well-being, and unlock your true potential.

Each week, you will explore a different theme through svadhyaya (self-study), asana (physical practice), pranayama (breathwork), pratyahara (sense withdrawal), and I will offer other inner enlightenment practices.

Here is a breakdown of what you can expect each week:

Week 1: Ahimsa

During this week, you will focus on the principle of non-violence towards oneself and others. The practices will provide support, grounding in setting your intentions with a focus on the first chakra (muladhara/root).

Week 2: Satya

During this week, you will explore the principle of truthfulness and authenticity. The practices will provide fuel to support your goals, dreams, and intentions with a focus on the second chakra (svadisthana/sacral).

Week 3: Asteya

During this week, you will focus on the principle of non-stealing and abundance. The practices will enhance your ability to tap into your personal power while raising your vibrations while focusing on the third chakra (manipura/sacral).

Week 4: Brahmacharya

During this week, you will explore the principle of self-control and moderation. The practices will have an emphasis into the power of your emotions as information that guides you while bringing awareness to the fourth chakra (anahata/heart).

Week 5: Aparigraha

During this week, you will focus on the principle of non-attachment and letting go. The practices will move you from fear to faith while opening the fifth chakra (vishudda/throat).

Week 6: Saucha & Santosa

During this week, you will explore the principles of purity and contentment. The practices this week will harness the energy of the sixth chakra (ajna/third eye) to connect you to your intuition.

Week 7: Tapas

During this week, you will focus on the principle of discipline and perseverance. The practices will open you to awareness and synchronicities as you work with the seventh chakra (sahasrara/crown).

Week 8: Isvara-pranidhana

During this week, you will explore the principle of surrender and devotion. I will guide you through one of my favorite chakra aligning practices as a way to celebrate the closing of this container.
